HBH Seminars and Workshops

Healing the Brokenhearted (HBH) Ministry seminars and workshops are a wonderful way to get the word out regarding the need for inner healing. We have been doing HBH seminars and workshops since 2009. They have been very powerful, impacting all who have attended in positive ways.

There are several differences between the HBH seminars and workshops that we have done.

Workshops are done in one or two sessions and last between three hours  and all day, each session beginning with a time of worship. Kathy ministers to the group after sharing her testimony and doing a short teaching about inner healing.

The goal of a workshop is to educate people about the need for inner healing and the availability of freedom from emotional pain and trauma through Jesus Christ.  It is not a substitute for personal ministry, but allows a person to experience a certain level of relief to encourage them to pursue further inner healing if necessary.

A seminar includes four or five sessions held over a two-day period and provides much more information regarding the HBH Ministry method of inner healing.  The goal of the seminar is once again to educate regarding the need for inner healing, but also to allow those who attend to have more information if they are considering entering HBH training opportunities.

There is a registration process for the seminars and workshops which includes a registration fee, and attendance is normally limited to a pre-determined number of people.

We are willing to come to your church, fellowship, or small group,
and can do either an HBH seminar or a workshop depending on your need.
If you are interested, send us an email,
and we will be glad to give you more information.

What in the World is Going on With Me?

Have you ever asked yourself that question?  You love the Lord Jesus and have asked Him into your life, but something is blocking you from receiving freedom from old habits and ungodly reactions to things.

Many times, but not always, the sin that we continue to battle in our lives is the result of past emotional pain and trauma that are festering beneath the surface.  If you find yourself repeatedly "going around the same mountains," this may be the reason.

Addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, gambling, food, prescription medications, cutting oneself, or any other thing may be the result of emotional pain and trauma from the past or present.

Trauma includes the death of a loved one, divorce, abuse of any kind (sexual, mental, verbal, emotional, spiritual or physical), repeatedly moving from one location to another (especially during childhood), natural disasters (fires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.), and anything else that is extremely upsetting to the normal life circumstance.

As painful memories from past events are triggered and come to the surface, the associated emotional, mental, or physical pain may be intense.  In an attempt to numb or deaden that pain, you may have one, two, three, or more drinks, use drugs, or in some other way try to relieve or remove that pain.  It may work for a short time because the activity changes the chemical balance in your brain.  However, it is not a permanent solution and the unbearable emotional, mental, spiritual or physical pain eventually surfaces again.  The cycle of numbing the pain, it reappearing, and numbing it again can lead to full-blown addiction.

Does this sound familiar?  If so, the good news is that there is hope!  Many people have received freedom from ungodly behavior, sin, and addictions through inner healing prayer ministry. Jesus Christ came to set the captives free, but sometimes it requires a person, "Jesus with skin on," to help in the process.
This is what the Healing the Brokenhearted Ministry is about, helping to set people free from the pain and trauma that keeps them bound to sin and ungodly behavior.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

ALL FOR JESUS MINISTRIES

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
  To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison
to those who are bound;”
Isaiah 61:1

Isaiah 61:1 was the Mission Statement of Jesus Christ, which He quoted and announced in Luke 4:18-21.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”  Luke 4:18-21

This is the Mission Statement of All for Jesus Ministries as well.

Our mission is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to the brokenhearted, the spiritually oppressed, those needing physical healing, and the unsaved.

We are also called to mentor, disciple, and train others who are then better equipped to fulfill this mission for the Lord Jesus Christ wherever and whenever He gives them the opportunity to do so.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

ALL FOR JESUS MINISTRIES

STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible is the Word of God, without error in its original manuscripts. The Holy Bible was verbally and totally inspired by God and is our supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

WE BELIEVE in one, living and true God eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory (Gen. 1:1, 26; Matt. 28:19; John 1:1-3; John 10:30).

JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!

WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:10-11), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His atoning  death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Hebrews 2:9), His  resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:4) and His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19).

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ, of his own volition, came into the world in order that whoever believes in His sacrificial death might have eternal life (John 3:16-18).  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:35).  We acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord over all things (Romans 9:5; Revelation 19:16).

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.  The blood of Jesus Christ is the sole covering and payment for our sins.  Salvation is a free gift that is offered by God to sinful man. (Isaiah 53; Matthew 20:28; John 3:16; Romans 3:24; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:2)

WE BELIEVE in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ; first for his saints and then with his saints to rule and reign over the earth (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

WE BELIEVE that all who come by grace through faith to the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, made alive spiritually, and thereby become adopted children of God.  It is God's intention that all who are so born from above are to yield themselves to complete obedience to His Lordship. (John 1:12-14; John 3:3,5; 1 Peter 1:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 2:12-14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit indwells every Believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide (John 14:16-17).

WE BELIEVE in the contemporary operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).

WE BELIEVE in a literal heaven and a literal hell (Matthew 5:3; Revelation 20:14-15).

The Holidays

What a blessing it is to get together with family and friends during Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, birthdays and other times of celebration.  However, these times can also be very emotionally painful for many people.

When emotional pain or trauma from the past is "triggered" during the holidays, it can be extremely difficult for those who are unknowingly carrying that pain.  They may not realize that their reaction to Aunt Suzie or Uncle Harry is really partially the result of past pain that has been buried and is now coming to the surface.

An example of emotional pain from the past being triggered after over six decades was related to Kathy by one of her ministry recipients several years ago.  This woman, Betty (not her real name), had been married for over 50 years when she asked her husband to go to the store for her to buy a jar of pickles.  Betty told him the type and brand of pickles that she wanted, but when he returned home, he had a jar of generic pickles that was not even the type that she had requested.

Well, this woman who was in her seventies said that she went into a rage!  However, Betty also had some knowledge about inner emotional wounds and quickly realized that her reaction had very little to do with the pickles.  So, she asked the Lord what was going on with her, and He revealed the root of her emotional outburst.  When Betty was a child, her family was very poor and her mother only bought things that were the least expensive.  If her mother came home with anything that was not the cheapest item, this woman's father went into a rage.  The pain and trauma that surfaced when Betty's husband came home with the generic pickles had been stuffed for over 60 years!

PRAISE THE LORD!  Betty received the healing and freedom that she needed from this past emotional pain and trauma through Jesus Christ.  You can also receive the same healing and freedom if you will pursue it with a qualified, trained Christian minister.  Healing the Brokenhearted Ministry is one type of inner healing ministry meant to help people get set free and healed from emotional, spiritual, and physical pain and trauma.
