STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible is
the Word of God, without error in its original manuscripts. The Holy Bible was
verbally and totally inspired by God and is our supreme and final authority in
faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
WE BELIEVE in one, living and true God eternally existing in three persons,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory (Gen. 1:1, 26; Matt.
28:19; John 1:1-3; John 10:30).
JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:10-11), His
virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews
7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:4) and His
ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19).
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ, of his own volition, came into the world in order that whoever believes in His sacrificial death might have eternal life (John 3:16-18). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:35). We acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord over all things (Romans 9:5; Revelation 19:16).
WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. The blood of Jesus Christ is the sole covering and payment for our sins. Salvation is a free gift that is offered by God to sinful man. (Isaiah 53; Matthew 20:28; John 3:16; Romans 3:24; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:2)
WE BELIEVE in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ; first for his
saints and then with his saints to rule and reign over the earth (Acts 1:11; 1
Thessalonians 4:16-17).
WE BELIEVE that all who come by grace through faith to the Lord Jesus Christ
are born of the Holy Spirit, made alive spiritually, and thereby become adopted
children of God. It is God's intention
that all who are so born from above are to yield themselves to complete
obedience to His Lordship. (John 1:12-14; John 3:3,5; 1 Peter 1:23; Ephesians
2:8-9; Colossians 2:12-14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit
indwells every Believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper,
Teacher, and Guide (John 14:16-17).
WE BELIEVE in the contemporary
operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).
WE BELIEVE in a literal heaven and a literal hell (Matthew 5:3; Revelation 20:14-15).
