Replace experienced trauma with truth
Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2022
For many people of faith, it is difficult to find help for the pain of traumas. Head knowledge of good and evil is generally shallow once one has experienced the results of sin in the world. In this devotional book, one is not only given a passage of scripture to read and meditate upon, one is given a magnifying glass to see how evil begets trauma and how the traumatized is dearly loved by a God who wants to heal that trauma. Bringing the reader to the Truth of redemption through Jesus and the expectation of obedience to word of God, Kathy helps the traumatized realize that evil does not have to win.
A good counselor helps the patient determine what actions and thoughts can help them heal. Neither the patient or the counselor can change the problem, however the counselor may help the patient change themselves. These devotionals encourage the reader to change their thinking and reactions of trauma. Bringing the reader to scripture and the promises of healing, these devotions are helpful to those with broken-hearts.
